Full Circle: Galveston's own 'Bruh-Man' from 'Martin' back on the block

For many BOI’s, he’s known as Reginald Ballard, an all-state linebacker at Ball High School and who also made his mark on the football field with the LSU Mustangs.

Today, he’s in his truest groove at stage center, cracking jokes and making people laugh, as he did as host of the Galveston Island New Years Eve Comedy Jamz & After Party on Dec. 30 at the Island Convention Center.

Widely known as “Bruh-Man” from the ‘fifth flo’ ”on the FOX sitcom Martin, Ballard has was on the cast of the The Bernie Mac Show and appeared in A Different World and in movies like “Class Act” and “Menace II Society.” He was kind enough to share his thoughts with Humans of Galveston.
