Nine Years of Humans of Galveston – Reflecting on the Journey
I was honored to be spotlighted by Charles McCullough on his CMC Conversation podcast on Super Bowl Sunday! It’s hard to believe it’s been nine years since I launched Humans of Galveston, and I'm still enjoying every minute.
What started as a sideline project has grown into a platform that celebrates the unique, quirky, and inspiring people of Galveston.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of telling stories that matter, spanning from gigs at The Galveston Daily News, The Houston Post, and The Houston Chronicle to my current job at Houston Community College,
I’ve always believed in the power of human connection. Journalism has taken me on the ride of a lifetime, allowing me to capture moments of triumph, tragedy, and everyday resilience.
Everyone has a story, and I am grateful for the chance to help share them.
